Chorus Urbanus has once again been invited to animate the Christmas Midnight Mass at Fontana Parish as has become customary, now, for these last years. The Mass was led by the Parish Priest of Fontana Canon John Muscat.

The service started minutes before midnight with the reciting of the Christmas psalms. These were followed by the singing of the “Gloria” by the Choir heralding the Birth of Jesus Christ.

Chorus Urbanus was under the direction of Mro Dr John Galea and performed a number of Christmas carols throughout the service. The traditional boy’s sermon was held during the Mass proclaiming to the congregation the advent of Jesus Christ, Saviour of the World.

At the end of the Mass, the Youth Group in Fontana offered mulled wine and other refreshments to all those present.
