Chorus Urbanus proudly announces the launch of its new 3-year project as part of the Gozo Cultural Support Programme, during which a series of concerts and events will be presented throughout the year with the participation of Chorus Urbanus together with other local and foreign artists. This project, entitled “Feel the Magic” and which will include at least one major open-air concert in summer, will be exploring different genres of music and will present the opportunity to the local audiences to appreciate music in its various cultural facets, hence the “Feel the Magic” concept.

Details of the project were announced during a press conference on 12th March 2019 held by the Project Team, led by Dr. John Galea, artistic director of the Project, accompanied by Mr George Borg, Mr David Grech and Ms Hilda Grima. The programme projected for this year, presents four contrasted Feel the Magic concerts showcasing prime artistic quality, and an open-air Grand Concert – Feel the Magic of Musical Theatre. The idea is to present an eclectic sequence of artistic endeavours that show the unity in diversity that the Arts can offer. The project is designed to attract a diverse and wide audience, with a wide-spread appeal where diverse tastes are addressed! Such is the philosophy behind the Project that promises events that are attractive and compelling to one and all.

This project will kickstart with “Feel the Magic of Brass” with the participation of Brass Tubes Ensemble under the direction of Mro. Mark Gauci. This concert is being held at Kempinski Hotel on Saturday 23rd March 2019 at 8.00pm. Entrance to the concert will be free of charge.
