The management of Chorus Urbanus on behalf of all the choir members and their relatives would like to convey our best wishes for the New Year to all followers of the choir. Looking back to 2018, one cannot but note with great satisfaction the milestones reached by Chorus Urbanus particularly in a number of major events undertaken by the Choir during the year.<\/p>\n

Of notable mention are the choral tour by the Choir in the Palermo region<\/a> with performances in Palermo Cathedral and the famous Duomo in Monreale, the highly successful production of Scrooge<\/a>, the Feel the Magic Concert<\/a>, the resurgence of the Junior Choir and very recently, the excellent Christmas Concert at St. George’s Basilica<\/a> by Chorus Urbanus and the Juniors.<\/p>\n

During the year, thanks to the assistance of the Eco-Gozo Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo, Chorus Urbanus acquired tablets<\/a> for its members to replace the use of paper for the music sheets normally used. This would definitely help in the global efforts in the conservation of our endangered environment but it would also facilitate logistical issues in the dissemination of music among the choristers.<\/p>\n
