Considering the notion of double-insularity Gozo has fared quite well throughout the ages and has beaten the notion of being a sort of backwater of mainland Malta.
The periodical Il-Ħajja f’Għawdex has efficiently served as a means of spreading knowledge, acknowledging advances and promoting the island.
To celebrate the 1000th issue of the periodical, Chorus Urbanus has been invited to animate the Sacred Liturgy that will be celebrated by H.L. Mons. Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo next Saturday 6 October at 6.30 pm at the Marian Shrine of Ta’ Pinu.
